Natalie + Dan- St. Louis, Missouri Wedding

Weddings

October 5, 2018

In a world where everyone tries to be different, outrageous and at times controversial, Natalie and Dan stand-out in a more inconspicuous way: they’re classic. Sure, Natalie is definitely what I would consider a “fashionista”. She can wear anything and look fabulous. Dan of course is about as low-key styled as it gets being the other half of Natalie. But the love they share is so romantic, perfectly silly and true, they leave you wanting more. To add to this, how Dan proposed is almost every girl’s dream. While they were in Paris (France, not Texas) Dan hired a photographer (some how he managed to find an American photographer to boot) and popped the question. They then had an engagement session promptly after. Like seriously. Is that a fairy-tale or what?!So it came as no surprise to me that their wedding day was about as perfect as it could be. They shared a first-look at the Marriott Grand hotel and since it was Friday, there was no one around to gawk. Not that those two would have even noticed anyway. Natalie’s perfect one-piece satin gown flowed quickly as she basically ran to grab Dan’s hand. As soon as he turned around, his face spoke for him (which was good since he was practically speechless) and it said, “WOW!”The rest of their best day ever flowed perfectly. Natalie’s gown was perfectly complimented by Dan’s dapper black tuxedo and her bridesmaids’ ivory gowns with velvet-red roses. The weather was perfectly sunny and Forest Park was empty (perks of a weekday wedding!), Memorial Presbyterian Church was stoic and beautiful, lastly the Missouri Athletic Club was pure majesty. Natalie’s gown was perfectly complimented by Dan’s dapper black tuxedo and her bridesmaids’ ivory gowns with velvet-red roses. We snuck a quiet moment outside under the lit MAC sign for a few photos and breaths of, “We did it!”Mr. & Mrs. Hagen, I can’t thank you enough for sharing your wedding day with us, it was truly the best day ever!

Yours truly,
Sonni
